Hotel Montreal - Florence

Charming atmosphere with excellent Wi-Fi connectivity.

We had a nice spacious room and the staff were friendly and great!! This hotel is in a great location -- just minutes from the train station in Florence and walking distances to all the sites. The primary reason we stayed here was for the location and based on other travellers comments on this site and Booked.net. Price of room we found a bit steep but the daily breakfast was of good value for the cost.

There is no elevator beyond the 1st floor. We had to lug our luggage up a flight of stairs. Not too bad if you pack light ;)

It is located near the train station, very convenient for getting in and out of the city.

The staff did not inform us that breakfast was not included in the hotel price. We only found out after having eaten two breakfasts. I was upset particularly because the breakfast fare was (truly) minimal!!!

The curtains need improvement. Just strips of fabric with gaps letting light in. Morning access to the room was limited due to ongoing work, causing temporary inconvenience.

Very conveniently located, just a couple of hundred metres from the railway station. Quiet rooms ( quadruple glazed) and excellent value for money. Staff very friendly and helpful

Room a bit 'tired'.

The location is nice, I guess. But my room was in absolute chaos upon arrival. I woudl ve been impressed if someone cared about my comfort. I also hoped for a complimentary breakfast as compensation for my troubles, but clearly, that woudl be too much to ask. Almost considered five stars, but just couldn't.

Wonderful to be so close to the train station, price (although you will be charged 2 euros extra per night per person for tourist tax), good airco, breakfast was very decent (contrary to other reviews), well sound-proofed but airco was rather noisy

Cleaning could have been more thorough, there were still things from the previous occupant lying around the room and the floor didn't seem properly hoovered

Excellent value for money and in a great location just behind the train station,easy to find. Nice staff.Room with aircon and bathroom.

The breakfast was a little poor but you really cant ask for much more for the money I paid.Also not a problem for me, but maybe for some.you have to walk up two flights of stairs if your room is on the 3rd floor.

Amazing staff (always ready to help!) and the cleanliness was great. The breakfast from partners was heavenly, and the location is just perfect, just a quick walk to major sights!

Cheerful hotel and the location near the city center was great. Location: the property was short walk to the centre of the city, the main sights of Florence, and Florence. I was surprised at nearby Caffe degli Artigiani, they had some goodies, drinks...

Happy to have received a private bathroom after having paid for a shared one. Staff were friendly and were more than happy to let us keep our luggage at the hotel for the day after we checked out. Clean, close to the city and train station.

Small window only but led to a shared balcony so it evened out.

Montreal is a wonderful choice! The family room was spacious and perfectly comfortable. We loved how close it was to the train station. The super nice team and friendly too.

Excellent location, basic but clean room, fair price, helpful reception staff. Though I booked a room with shower only, I got one with both shower and toilet.

Wifi worked VERY poorly (I was on the first floor). Also, room 101 is next to the elevator, you can hear every single guest arriving, lift door opening etc. No fridge in the room.

The place was fairly clean and wonderful, it had welcoming staff at the reception desk. I got free and great breakfast with juice and jams, as for instance. I truly enjoyed that the property was walk from the train station.
